Hi Billy, some good tales in here mate, loving it! My first real playing gig was at the Plough inn (Perth). We were first on supporting Arisaig and The Sleaze Band. We were called Angel. Drummer was coming up from Fife and was running late. Someone suggested a van breakdown and of course the shout went up “Ahahaha, brokendown angel, ahaha”. Fud. So when drummer did turn up we opened with Dear John’. But we ‘had’ to BDA later. I ended up playing thru Manny’s Marshall stack, bought out of Ink Music in Dunfy? Man, that was loud as fuck!
