I am a film maker currently embarking on producing a mainstream documentary about Bill Nelson, the guitarist and singer/songwriter formerly of Be Bop Deluxe.
Bill has had a long and prolific musical career and is still making incredible music today, well into his 70’s.
As part of the film I want to talk to his musical peers about his musicianship, influence and legacy and so was wondering if I could have an initial chat with you, as a prequel to setting up a short film interview?
Even if you are not that familiar with his work, I would still be interested in getting your thoughts – it would be great to play you some tracks at the interview and hear your reaction.
